The positives:1: Burns well2. Backflow works3. Burn time seems adequateThe negatives:1. There is nothing remotely cedar or woody about the scent2. It has a very strong smell. For me, it’s too much. Others might like it3. It smells like overly perfumed soap, not cedarTo be clear, I love the smell of incense because they are usually earthy, but these were not. They were overpowering and not even remotely indicative of the scent they were labeled. I do not recommend for those reasons.

Doesn’t smell like pine to me.
The smell does not give me pine. It’s woodsy maybe. That’s the best I can describe it. More like earthy dirt in a wooded area smell. My husband and I just don’t get pine which is what we wanted. It’s not a horrible smell and it is strong so we will still put these to use as back ups.

I love this vanilla smell. It’s not a sickly sweet heavy suffocating smell like many incense I’ve tried before. I burned it in a 12×12 bedroom and it wasn’t overpowering, it was perfect, not too weak and not too strong which is exactly what I wanted. I previously purchased the White Sage and did not like it. It was strong and overpowering and gave me a bad headache. The vanilla scent is really calming and if you like the smell of vanilla you will love this incense.
