A revelation!
Wow this soap is amazing. I used to make my own and this is the closest I’ve found. I wasn’t paying attention when I bought it and yes the bars are smaller, definitely not full size, which annoyed me until I tried it. Do not care one bit it’s worth it. Leaves my skin soft all day, no need for lotion which is wild considering it’s winter. Husband switched over to it too. Lovely smell, totally hooked!

they all smell the same
The soap itself is excellent: moisturizing and sudsy. But the scents are indistinguishable from each other. Nowhere on the box did it indicate the scents, and I suspect they are all identical. They are not strongly scented, which is preferable to me. I don’t have a problem with this, except they advertise that there are differences when it does not appear to be any.

Soaps were broken and banged up
They were supposed to be here the next day and it took 4 days to receive them. When I receive them they were smashed and broken up. The box was fine! To return I need to spend an hour of my time not worth the $8! I feel totally ripped off!

Just 3 Things…
They are well made and lather well. I would however like the scent a little stronger and the bars to be bigger and labeled. Other than these 3 things they are wonderful.

These are really nice soap bars that come in a nice non plastic, recyclable box with paper separating the 3 bars. The smell from the bars was somewhat underwhelming. There was a scent but it was very faint. That is until you get them wet and lather them up and the scents of these bars really come alive. These bars clean really well and what I like most about these is they don’t dry the skin like many others bars of soap out there. In terms of size the bars weigh around 90 gram +/- 5%. The listing seems to indicate these should be 100g each.Overall I really like these bars of soap mostly as they don’t seem to dry out the skin like many others do. These are not the cheapest but I feel you’re getting good quality at the very least.

This is a difficult one – the soaps look very artisanal but it’s difficult to tell which one is which! The problem is this – the soaps are not marked in any way and the scents are difficult to distinguish one from the other as they’re in a cardboard box separated only by a thin sheet of paper so scents mingle to make a sort of generic botanical aroma. Hmm. At first I thought they might be in the order they appear in the listing (l-r) but on looking at the other scent combinations and colour of the soaps I’m not so sure. Colour can be a bit misleading as each batch will be slightly different so I’m going mainly by scent, and I think (about 60% certain) that the order is (l-r) frankincense (light green), tea tree (cream), clary sage (darker green). Since each soap has a different use – frankincense for dry skin, tea tree for deep cleansing and clary sage gentle cleansing for sensitive skin it’s quite important to select the correct soap. Hmm again. I think the only way I’ll be certain which one is which is to separate them and keep them apart for a while (days? weeks?) to determine the scent profile of each soap.Apart from the identification issue these are as I’d expect soap like this to be. The look as though they’ve been hewn by hand from a larger block. Each block is a slightly different size and weight which the listing says is nominally 100g per block, combined weight 300g. Here I found the weights to be 97g, 83g and 95g for a combined weight of 275g – the smallest being easily distinguishable from the other two. Since these soaps seem hand cut and they fill the box I’m not too concerned by the discrepancy on weight but it’s worth noting that 25g is a bit over 8% shortfall which may be an issue for some. The texture is, I would say, medium hard. They aren’t smooth like many large scale commercially produced soaps and they crumble fairly easily which experience tells me they won’t last for weeks on end – I would say they’re ‘treat’ soaps for a bit of me-time pampering. They tick all the right boxes in terms of ingredients and packaging but it would be really helpful if the soaps were sold in packs of three of the same scent or more clearly marked as to which is which. At £14.99 for three bars (as at 10 January 2025) this is a reasonable price to pay for soaps like this, though a bit more labelling would be helpful.
