    Honestly pretty surprised…
I went a bit over the top looking for a note pad to replace a promotional pad I received from an architecture firm some time ago that I really liked. My criteria were as follows:- Needed to be inexpensive so I could just use it and not worry about it being fancy/expensive- Dot grid print preferred, ideally with minimal other branding or margins- Portrait orientation memo pad that tears of clean and doesn’t have any frizzy edges (no perforations!)- Paper needed to stand up to pens without bleeding through to the next sheet- Stiff backer so it could be used handheld without creating accidental ransom notesWith those criteria in mind I set out scouring the internet. I really thought I’d find a bulk pack of dot-grid pads that I would order 100 of from some obscure website and never have to think about this again, but nothing really fit the bill. So I ordered a bunch of different options off of Amazon to give them all a trial.Of the products I ordered, this was the 2nd cheapest per sheet. The brand name and gold foil led me to believe this would wind up a bit of a chintzy product, but the price was good and reviews were positive, so I gave it a shot, and I’m glad I did!The packaging of each notepad was actually rather nice, and kept the pad crisp and clean during shipment. The paper is a bit coarser than all of the other options, but I found it works better with pencils and I’ve been using a lot of pencil lately, so that has worked in my favor (despite what I would have guessed). The “Notes” heading at the top is fairly unobtrusive and quiet in person, which is good—I thought it would feel gaudy. I like that I have a bit of room on either side of it for a date or similar, too.The dot grid patterns on a lot of cheaper note pads are done in full sheets that are cut to size afterward without much regard for where the cuts fall along the grid pattern. These notepads were done with much more car, though—the printed dot grid is centered with a small margin (just over the gap between the dots). This is a small touch that a lot of people don’t notice, but it increases the cost of the pads because it takes more time to do and can result in more rejected units. I really appreciate that they went this route. The paper has a warmer tone to it that matches my Baronfig planner fairly closely. Come to think of it, the paper stock in those feels pretty similar to these pads as well, so if you have one of those and like it, you might really like these too.Should you get this?- If you find yourself looking for something that aligns with the criteria I listed above, you might want to pick these pads up.- If you want something with a smoother, whiter paper stock and tighter spacing between dots, the Notsu pads might work better for you, but they are more expensive, don’t have as stiff of a backer, and only have 50 sheets per pad—otherwise they are great as well.- If you want a larger memo pad that has smoother, whiter paper and no adornment, consider the Handy Forms pads—price is almost double per sheet but they are also printed on the back and they’re larger, but the backer board is much thinner.

I’m not a lined paper girl—the dots are perfect!
This notepad is just what I needed. I’m a small business owner and prefer to jot quick notes/to-do lists rather than do everything on my phone or computer. I was on the hunt for a pad that wasn’t lined, a warmer toned white/cream, and a medium size. This fit the bill! I love the dots for some guidance when writing. They’re minimal and highly effective—just what I was looking for. The pad is so cute it can even be set out on my desk and it doesn’t drive me nuts. It’s not too large and not too small, either. Plenty of room to write to-dos and other notes! The pages easily tear out if I need to take a list on the go. I’ve even torn a second page below the top page out if I wanted the info written on the top page to stay on the pad. Will definitely be ordering again!Pros:- Aesthetic- Perfect Size- Dots, not lines- Easy to write on- Easy to remove pages from the pad- Lots of pages!Cons:- none

Cute memo pads but paper quality isn’t good for fountain pens
I bought these memo pads because I love the idea behind them and the gold foil aesthetic. I am just a bit disappointed that the paper used for them isn’t fountain pen quality. As you can see, it’s very absorbent paper, so there is no “shading” in the ink. There is also slight feathering if you add a bit of pressure for flex nibbed pens.I don’t plan on returning these memo pads because I can just use regular gel pens with them, but I don’t recommend them for use with fountain pens.

My Favorite Productivity Addition to My 2024 Workflow!
At first glance, one might dismiss these pads as just another over-priced notebook. However, this mousepad notepad is anything but. Yes, it’s a little pricey. But, the ability to write out your to-dos, affirmations, daily goals, etc., on thick luxurious paper that doubles as an excellent mousepad is the most effective tool I have found to boost my productivity. Having the mouse rest on these typically important notes keeps them at the forefront of your mind all day which allows you to stay focused. Plus, the act of writing with a nice pen on thick luxurious paper forces your mind to slow down, allowing you to write with intention and retain more of what’s written.Highly recommended, I have built a small stash of 5 pads in case they ever sell out on here!

    Luxurious paper!!
I rarely leave reviews, but this product is too good not to praise. All my favorite pens are smooth as butter on the thick sheets in this pad. The color is creamy and asthetically pleasing, and the gold embossed “NOTES” adds to the richness of each thick sheet. It’s my favorite out of a huge collection of notebooks and paper. I carry it around in my bag, I love it so much. I will be purchasing more from this brand!

I like this as a mousepad and for jotting quick notes while working. It’s good quality and it’s simple but still pleasing to the eye. I like the gold detail of the wording. I saw another review saying that the dots interfered with their wireless mouse but I have had not had this issue. Happy to support a small family run business that creates good products!
