Wonderful Devotional For Young Men
I am a big fan of devotionals, as the practice of centering and connecting to God every day through the BIble has helped me through many transitional times. This is why I thought Becoming Who I Am: Devotional for Teen Boys would be a good gift for my nephew.I remember the struggles of the teenage years, from pressure to do well in school and sports to changing friendship dynamics. It is a time of discovering new parts of ourselves and starting to figure out who one is in the world. Needless to say, this is no easy feat! I can see the growth my nephew is going through, and I wanted to gift him with something that would help him remain connected to his faith and deepen his connection to God during this time in his life.In these formative years, having a daily spiritual practice is so important, especially as one is cultivating more independence in their life. I want him to remember that God is always with him every step of the way. This book was absolutely perfect in so many ways for this reason. It also is a fantastic educational tool that is a good fit for my nephew’s age (15) in regard to learning about the stories of the BIble and their meaning.I highly recommend this to mothers, aunts, and caregivers of teenage boys who are looking to provide guidance while also cultivating independence in their young men. This book will be a great source of support for a teenager, who is discovering their own path to God. I have seen my nephew reading it with enjoyment, and he has told me he really appreciates it because it guides him to make good decisions. He also likes how it gives him the opportunity to more thoroughly explore his faith. It’s a great tool to help our loved young men stay on track and connected to God.

Simple and Effective, Need-Based Teen Boys’ Devotional
This devotional by Anders Bennett is a must-have for all teenage boys. It is not so much a daily devotional, but rather a need-based devotional that can be used under various circumstances to help teenage boys overcome many of the usual struggles they encounter during this time of their lives. Every one of the 150 devotions is very effective and takes less than 5 minutes to read. Bennett also does a great job conveying different lessons from the perspective of various different relations that teenage boys may have, including family, friends, teammates, peers, a significant other, and more. Overall, this is a simple yet effective devotional that is perfect for teenage boys and all of the challenges they face. Would highly recommend to others!

the collection of topics is good and overall covers most aspects of young adult life; some devotionals in ‘dating’ section were presuming the person is in dating relation – not much of discussion if the teen in not dating currently; The editor was on vacation with this book. So many typos and wrong words — you start to question your eyesight

There are tons of different sections including a section on being single, for kids now a days and how they put so much focus on relationships at such young ages, these pages are a wonderful read.The daily question is easy to discuss or journal and each day only takes him about 10-15 minutes.
