A world of difference! This is amazing incense. So lavish! Intense. Sweet. Frankincense.Years ago I found Wild Berry brand incense and bought it in bulk. It is so rich in aroma that for me, it set the standard of what incense should be. The aroma is so intense…like being transported to another world. Really. (NO, I don’t smoke dope or do drugs.) My source went out of business. I lost touch with this brand.I recently purchased another brand, frankincense, a popular brand so I won’t name it. But I was so disappointed. The aroma only hinted of frankincense but the predominant aroma was burnt wood, aparent from the residue left from the burnt incense. Then I recalled the name of Wild Berry, found it on Prime and ordered it. It landed today and I am so pleased. Next order, myrrh. These two in conjunction are spectacular, sweeter than the frankincense/myrrh associated with church rituals.This is really like a punch in the face, hippie incense, that kind that floats in a room, in a house, hangs there like a light fog, long after it burns down.

Not the Roman Catholic incense smell
The frankincense does not smell like what I was hoping to find, but perhaps what I was looking for is not frankincense. This still smells nice, but I was hoping to find a scent much closer to the incense that is burnt at Mass. I think I’ll keep Wild Berry’s patchouli sticks as my go-to prayer incense at home.
