It is time for No More Excuses and become the man of God you need to be.
We just started this study last night and got half way through the first study. This study is awesome! I was the temporary leader for our men’s Bible study and it was pretty much left up to me to find our next study. After tossing a few ideas out to the guys, I came across this one and decided to give this a go. If you really want to have an in-depth discussion about what is keeping you from being the man of God that God wants you to be…get this study! You won’t regret it!

This is a good study
I have read through this book with a Men’s Bible Study group 8 or 9 times meeting weekly. It is a very good study guide that we have used. We divide each chapter into a two week study. It lasts for a full year doing it this way. I highly recommend this for a men’s study group and for any man wanting to get deeper into God’s Word.

My wife purchased this for me; she has the Women of the Bible, same idea & format. A good goal in the new year is to make lasting, beneficial changes in our charecter. Humans are flawed so we need as many outstanding examples of integrity and charecter that we can learn from. What is invaluable about this book is that these people actual lived, history has confirmed their exsistence thereby you can be confident that you can add these attributes to your own life.

Interesting facts for you to learn
I thought this would be a good book to study with and improve my relationship with God. Not going to preach here okay. Now when you read this book there are questions for you to answer and learn from. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Monday to Friday to read and study. Not bad I think.

I like it. It is not someone reading the Bible word for word. It would be like your mom or dad telling you in their own words about the great men in the Bible. It gives good reference to the stories in the Bible if you want to read more about them. It has caused me to want to go back and read the stories from the Holy Bible that i have read time and time again.

Ann Spangler comes up trumps again. Her studies are relevant, interesting, easy to read, and helpful. This book is ideal for personal use, and could easily be adapted for group use. By starting at the beginning of the book with Adam, and working your way through it to Paul, you also have a good overview of the Bible.

It’s nice to explore the Word through the stories of the people in it, and there are explanations at the beginning to set the scene and historical context.
