Nice Size for Purse or Pocket; Includes Pen
When it comes to personal journals, I love carrying one in my purse as I always want to have a pen and paper ready for any thoughts that come to mind. It’s been an important part of my life as sometimes I just want to take a minute and write down my inspirations as I go about my life. Another important thing for any journal I carry is it needs to have a bright cover, as I don’t want to lose it (in my purse or forget it when I have it out).The Christian prayer journals are very elegant. Each journal is embossed with a Biblical passage and includes a matching pen. The journals are bright colored and have lined paper. The journal is hardcover so you write in the book easily, even if you don’t have a hard surface.Overall, these are beautiful journals and I’ve started writing in one already. They are small enough to have one in my purse, but I put one in my bed stand and in my car glove box. So whenever inspiration hits me, I am ready.

Nice notebooks, meh pens
The journals themselves are great. They are a small size for your purse or pocket, so you can have them on-hand for taking notes. The vinyl covers have nice bright colors, and the verses are well-chosen (although the “s” is a little weird in the second font). The pages are lined (they look wide ruled to me), and there is elastic for closure and the pen loop.The pens are kinda meh. They feel cheap. Sometimes the ink skips, and I have to go back and rewrite a word (this is not an uncommon problem with ballpoint). They have a bamboo outer, which makes them chunky (this may be a plus or minus, depending on your preference). My box had two reds (“Love is patient”) and no orange, so the orange journal doesn’t get a matching pen. The green pen pops open when clicked. I opened it up to diagnose the issue, and apparently the glue between the bamboo outer and the plastic core failed to hold. I’m regluing it, but buyers may want to check theirs before gifting them.

Everything about this boxed set screams quality. The notebooks are thin enough to fit into narrow purses but the covers are hard-covered so these books will hold up. The colors are vibrant and each notebook comes with a different cover design featuring a different bible verse. Each pen writes a good medium-tipped black ink. And, each pen has a scripture verse that coincides with the colored notebook — or you can mix them up, too.The box that this set arrives in is such an incredible strength, you won’t want to toss that out either. There was nothing on the box to identify where this product was made but I was able to track down the manufacturer. This product is made in Indonesia. It’s apparent the company Insada takes great pride in its product. It’s evident in every detail of this boxed set. The notebooks are a good size, too — measuring about 4 inches wide and just shy of 6 inches tall. Each page is ruled with lines for simple note-taking.

Gift Them Lovely Journals
I love giving out these notebooks, especially to seniors, because I encourage them to journal their lives for their family. The books pretty colors, nice quality, and it comes with a pen that attaches to the book. Lines are wider, but that’s good, because some of the ladies are dealing with arthritis issues, and it allows them to write to their comfort.Very nice gifts to give out.

These are some awesome little journals! A bit smaller than I thought they were going to be but still cute. Sturdy, colors are bright, and the pens work decently. I haven’t double checked that the verse printed matches the verse that is quoted, but in my case I don’t care. Overall these are super cute and definitely worth the money! Might even become a repeat purchase since I need them frequently!
