Teen girl devotional for today’s faith
This devotional book is great for teen girls like my niece. Today’s teen needs something faith-based to turn to, and this prayer guide gives them that option. It has a hundred up beat, positive scriptures that will surely guide a teen in any daily situation. The devotionals talk straight to your teen, not at them and are just long enough to provide the quick inspiration your teen will need in her busy life. I know my niece will be able to flip through the Table of Contents and find which devotional is best for her that day. This guide will be great whether she is at school, out with friends, or at home. If she starts to struggle with a particular issue, then I know this book will give her something to return to over and over.

Great Devotional Resource for Questions Your Teen May Have!
Just as this devotional starts out with, being a teenager can be a difficult time in terms of how much you learn in school, and with friends. On top of everyday stressors, teenage girls (like myself just a few years ago) have a lot of pressure to manage regarding everything from interests to appearance which can really bring them down. This is where the Devotional for Teen Girls becomes a lifeline. Each daily devotional is short and sweet, with perfectly fitting quotes relating to each theme that may need addressing as life continues into teenage/ young adult years, and covers nearly everything from the negative in life like concerns with self esteem and bullying, to friendship, family relations and romance. To top it all off, more modern concerns regarding subjects like cell phones and tattoos are tackled too, making even us adults wonder, “where was this book when we were fifteen”?Overall this devotional is curated perfectly, and includes concerns that are both general and specific to certain issues a teen girl might have questions about, and since the book flows so well, it’s easy to either read the entire devotional in order, or find a specific topic to ease your concerns with!

BEING A TEENAGE GIRL IS HARD ENOUGH AS IT IS, IT’S EVEN MORE SO WHEN YOU ADD IN CHRISTIAN VALUES
Ladies, do you remember what it was like being a teenager. No longer a child, but and yet an adult. Those days had been a time when your entire existence was undergoing massive changes involving the image you had of yourself, especially that of your body. Remember, the issues you’d possessed regarding your self-image and changes in your friendships. If you now add in possessing Christian values to the mix, the complexity that results in can be extremely challenging to deal with on a day-to-day basis regarding what one might face each day. What is needed to overcome this is knowing that the Lord is always there for you, possessing the knowledge through His words. The 100 devotional scriptures in this book by Eileen Nyberg are designed to help its readers deal with the issues they’re liking to face as they grow and mature into the Christian woman they’re meant to be. Each of the devotions begins with a specific scripture that deals with the topic for that day’s topic, followed by a clarification about how it relates to the topic for the day. And to reemphasize the day’s devotion, a prayer is given to reflect on.For wanting to assist her teenage readers in dealing with the issues, they’re facing growing up as Christian teenage girls, I’ve given Ms. Nyberg 5 STARS for endeavor here.

Amazing Devotional for Teen Girls
Even though I brought this to my cousin, who likes to read devotionals, I decided to see what this book is about. Just like the title says, this book is about 100 different devotionals with a focus on teenage girls. This book cover a ride range of topics, from mobile phone addiction to forgiving others, that are relevant to a teenager’s life. For those like my cousin, this book can help guide these kids with their faith in any situation that they might find themselves in.I would recommend this book to anyone who knows a teenage girl. The devotionals can be useful in helping them though any situation that any teenage girl might find herself dealing with.

Every time I go on the hunt for a devotional, I am always amazed at the quality and this time is no different. This devotional aimed at teen girls is such an perfect idea for a gift or for a young girl who may seem to be feeling uncertain as life starts to change for her. All the scriptures included are totally relatable and easy to read/understand for the readers of a slightly younger age.I think it is safe to say that this devotional is definitely inspirational and I think many young girls will benefit from a book of this standard and probably even use it as a bit of a life guide. As a woman, I remember my teenage years vividly and felt that I was often a bit lost and left to my own devices with no real guidance, not through a lack of support but through a lack of personal disbelief and a book like this would have really helped to guide me through the darker days.

I bought a few of these books to give as grade 7 graduation gifts to the girls in my youth ministry – I thought it would be nice to have a teenage devotional for them as they step into high school. However, I wish I didn’t buy these at all!!Some of these devo’s have good content, however, there are MANY that raise some serious red flags!Particularly one that talks about having sex on your period – quoting Leviticus. It talks about periods being “messy, stinky and very unsanitary” and how you shouldn’t have sex with your boyfriend anyways, “but if he pressures you, tell him that you just can’t while on your period.” Yikes!! Why are we teaching young girls that a VERY normal part of a woman’s life (their period) is gross? There’s another devo that talks about period pain and cleanliness. It honestly sounds like it was written by a staunchy old man who thinks women are gross because they bleed every month. Highly inappropriate in my opinion. Also, this book has too many devotionals on sex – 1-2 should be enough, not NINE.I missed the return window on these, which is very disappointing. A waste of money. I would never give one of these books to any young woman.

I really like the accessibility and ease of this book. It’s hard being a teenager, and their lives are far busier than parents could ever understand, so with the books quick 3 minute reads and devotionals it makes learning about God an easy thing to fit into your day. Each devotional addresses key elements of teenage life, and how to cope with them. Each chapters focus is backed up with a passage from the Bible which is well explained. The chapters pose thought provoking questions which again are tied both to the Bible and teenage life in a friendly and easy to interpret way. Each chapter ends with a little unique prayer to help when times are uncertain, or the reader is in a particular situation. I would recommend this book to any teenage girl interested in Bible devotion and Bible study.

Too specific, too much assuming, too narrowed in, too many don’ts! Behaviour modification instead of encouraging awe for God or growing in faith. I did not feel comfortable to give this devotional to my daughter. Some of the content would have been better off in a book, where it might be explained better. Very disappointing!
