This is a great devotional book for preteen boys
This book really caught my eye and engaged me right away. The book is so well built up with the chapters and the text, that I just want to read more and more. For a preteen, this is so valuable today, with times of just being in the computer or in other things that do not strengthen our power and faith. The Chapters are built up in a such a playful way, with first a short cell phone message conversation between two friends. That leads into a great biblical text and the power of that. A short prayer to create power within is then followed by a possibility to write some answers on the questions that are related to the chapter and book. I would recommend this book to any person who wants their child to be more into the Divine Christian path in life, or as a direct request from the preteen.

    Faith That Speaks His Language
I got this devotional for my son, hoping it would help him connect with his faith in a way that feels natural and exciting—and it did not disappoint! The text-message style intros instantly caught his attention, making each lesson feel modern and engaging. The Bible teachings are clear and relatable, addressing real struggles like anxiety and friendships in a way that speaks to him. I love how the short prayers and interactive activities encourage him to think deeper without feeling like another homework assignment. What really sets this devotional apart is how it makes faith feel personal and practical. It doesn’t just tell my son what to believe—it helps him see how Jesus fits into his daily life. The vibrant illustrations and creative prompts keep him interested, and I’ve noticed him bringing up lessons in casual conversations, which is a huge win.

    Nice devotional for young fellows
Totally-Awesome-Devotional for Preteen Boys” is a great pick! This eBook is packed with solid, biblically sound content that’s super easy to understand. It’s perfect for 9, 10, or 11-year-old boys looking to grow their faith.I would say it’s missing more color and interactivity. Preteen boys love vibrant visuals and fun activities—think video games and superhero comics—so adding those elements could really take this devotional to the next level. The FIND THE CROSS exercise in black and white was difficult for my grandson to find. But if it were in color, it may have been easier. In paperback books, adding colors can be costly to print; however, in eBooks, it should be easier to incorporate. But don’t let that hold you back. This devotional delivers spiritual insights in a way that makes sense to preteen boys and helps them connect with the Bible. In short, “Totally-Awesome-Devotional for Preteen Boys” is a solid resource that hits the mark for its target audience. It could be even more impressive with a few tweaks to make it more visually engaging. If you’re looking for a great way to get your preteen boy into the Word, this devotional is worth checking out.

I got this book for my nephew who’s around 11, and I have to say it’s really cool. It’s written in a super easy style that feels modern and fun, there are even text-message style conversations at the start of each chapter, which totally got my attention.I love that it has short prayers and quick activities or journaling prompts, so it’s not just reading, you actually get to do something and think about how it fits your life. The illustrations are pretty vibrant (someone even mentioned pixel art, how awesome is that?), which makes everything feel more engaging.Overall, it’s perfect for a kid who wants to connect with God in a way that’s fresh and not too heavy. You could read it alone or discuss it as a family. Either way, it’s a great choice for preteens (and maybe older kids, too) to explore faith and find hope and joy in everyday challenges.
