    Perfect Scent
    I really love this scent. The makers have done an excellent job of preparing a scent that is bold and wonderfully scented. I am a scented candle lover and for once I was not disappointed. Question: Do they have this scent in cubes? It would save glass.

    For me, it was okay.
    For me in general, this candle and scent are just okay. Not bad, but not excellent either.First, let me explain, I was looking specifically for a scented candle that reminds me of the scent of the incense burned during Catholic mass. After reading other reviews for this product, I figured I would try this one.The package arrived just fine, the candle itself wrapped in bubble wrap, stuffed inside an appropriately sized cardboard box. All of that is perfect, especially for gifting purposes. After opening the package and removing the candle, I was a bit disappointed with the size. It wasn’t tiny, but I was just expecting a bit bigger of a candle. With the lid still on the candle jar, overall height is about 4 inches. The actual candle wax itself inside the jar was about 3 inches high, and the hexagon-shaped jar itself measures about 3 inches across at the widest point. So roughly about 9 cubic inches of actual candle.Now the scent itself, well let’s just say it does not remind me of the Catholic mass incense that I was hoping for. Keep in mind, I understand the actual scent would really be a matter of perception. The scent could evoke different thoughts or memories for each of us. For me personally, the first thing I thought of when I lit the candle and smelt the aroma… I thought of men’s underarm deodorant. For real!The scent is a bit woodsy and spicy, that’s really about the only way I can describe it. I also think of maybe the scent of crayons, now that I think about it some more. But anyway, not the smell of Catholic Church incense. I accept it, I kept the candle. The scent is not totally obnoxious or unacceptable. It is actually burning right now, right here next to me, as I share this review with you. It is okay, just not what I was hoping for. Buy it for yourself and see what you think!     Smells like the real thing!
    After a trip to Ethiopia breathing in frankincense at each coffee ceremony, I was determined to burn the resin at home too. But I kept setting off my smoke detectors and scaring my kids, so I decided to find another way.I’ve tried a few supposedly frankincense-scented candles, but they’ve been light on the smells. This one is almost the opposite; it creates a nice earthy, smokey scent immediately. I’m pleased with it in my open living room, but it’s stronger than I’d anticipated and would be overwhelming, I think, in a small space. It burns clean. Overall, I’d recommend this candle and shop.

    Thing lasted for 1 day. Couldn’t actually smell anything. Not worth my money. The color was off.Update: Had to use a incense to relight candle. Seems okay now. Gonna see if I can smell anything

    A candle I had before was Burnt Orange and Myrrh which I loved. This one I wasn’t too sure at first but it’s grown on me. Not too overpowering, which I like. Reminds me of going into an old church and I like old churches 😂
