I bought this essence about a year ago for the first time from a local co-op and I LOVE IT. I have worn it every single day. I bought a replacement before it even ran out but when that one ran out the store didn’t have any in stock and I’ve been without for a few weeks. I think I am addicted to this smell and was so excited when I saw that I could get it from Amazon. I’m not exaggerating. It sounds strange but I really feel like this activates my brains pleasure circuits because I enjoy the way this smells so much! I get complements too and my Fiance likes the smell as well so it’s not just my imagination. :)I don’t really know how to describe the smell. It’s not overly earthy like patchouli is. It has more of a sweet tone to it but not uneven like a vanilla scent. It could be worn by a guy or a girl I think. And the feelings it evokes is like drinking a delicious, rich, and soothing warm drink after being out in the snow. I can’t get enough. I would really be interested in seeing if other people have the same experience when they wear it. Either way, I am a life long customer of this now. Also I don’t wear any synthetic fragrances so it’s great that this is just essential oils. It stays on all day too!

Lovely scent that lasts all 🌇 &🌆, but strong pure formula.
The scent of this stuff is lovely. You put it on, and it lasts all day and night; however, for those with sensitive skin, like myself, be forewarned, because of the potency of this pure formula, you may only be able to use it very lightly. I rubbed this pure oil all over my chest and stomach, and about halfway through the workday (sweating), my chest and stomach were on🔥😂; I was itching & burning, but it only left a mild redness. I believe I used too much of it, and on very sensitive areas; this is simply a caution. I still use it, but more conservatively, and on less sensitive areas.

THIS PROUCT SMELLS CHEAP
I had purchased to wear on my upcoming anniversary and I am incredibly disappointed with the quality. This is not the smell of true frankincense or myrrh (which I handle in raw form frequently). I was really enthusiastic about this scent combination. I had high hopes…too high. This oil smells of artificial scents.

This is my 6th purchase of this quality product. I have provided some as gifts too! This brand has a warm receptive pleasant smell, not like others that is pungent. It is my daytime scent, decreases stress and very calming. Numerous times I have heard people even when i’m shopping stop me and ask what i’m wearing because they like it. They pull out their cameras and take a pic of this little jar. I’m sure I’ll be purchasing more in the future.

The quality of this product so surpasses that of others it is worth the extra cost. I will not settle for less knowing what Ancient Essence has to offer! I can purchase locally for the same price but it’s a bit of a drive & although I was not happy about the shipping cost, low & behold, Ancient Essence sent a small sample of another essence that arrived with perfect timing & made a great gift for my boss’s Birthday that more than made up for the extra expense.
