My family and I purchased this as a gift for a dear friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We wanted to remind him every day of how much he is loved, and also wanted to gift him with something that would bring comfort to him physically as well during the trying period ahead. This blank was a beautiful, practical gift. It reminded him of our love and support as it kept him warm while he was resting. It was the perfect size. This was boxed nice, it came with a bag and a card. I didn’t unroll it because it was a gift. Don’t know how it washes. So I could only give it a 4. It seemed thin but looked warm not cheaply thin but not super heavy. I do think it would be warm though as the material is soft and furry for lack of a better word.
