Love these soaps!
I bought the Frankincense & Myrrh soap several times. I love that it is organic. The smell is pleasant and not overbearing. It cleans my hands nicely. It lasts a long time as well. It has become a staple in my household.

Weird soap – so thick it’s crazy.
I’m a big fan of castille soaps; for handwashing, showering, etc. Having used several brands I tend to think I know what to expect with a bottle of castille soap – but not with this brand. This bottle is my first purchase from this brand; got a gallon. My first impression of the soap is that something is wrong with it. I went to refill a bathroom handsoap foaming pump. I’ve been in the habit, over several brands of castille soaps, of diluting the soap about half and half with water. Brittanie’s soap, however, is so, so thick it didn’t pour out of the bottle into the hand soap pump.I figured the soap was cold from shipping, so let it warm up and tried again later. Still, this brittanie’s soap is the thickest I’ve ever seen. The soap is much more a thick, viscous gel than a liquid soap. After warming up to room temperature, the soap did flow into the hand soap pump. I tried half and half water and soap, and then shook the heck out of it to mix. Unfortunately, it’s not coming out of the pump. The soap is so thick it doesn’t come out. I keep adding water and shaking more; it’s starting to seem like this soap will need maybe 3 or even 4 to 1 water to soap to make it pumpable.I’ve read reviews saying the soap doesn’t bubble up well. That’s true, it doesn’t at first – but as one washes their hands, it finally does. It seems this is so darn concentrated it’s just absurd.I won’t buy this brand again, as I just can’t decide if this is supposed to be a thick unpourable gel that doesn’t act or behave like normal soap; or, is it defective?Sure, this smells good, and it does seem to wash. But it’s almost unusable as it comes out of the bottle. Know that before ordering.

happy with smell!
i got the frank & myrrh; we are enjoying the smell! the oils are not too harsh, good for sensitive skin. does take some adjusting from dr. bronners or the comparative brand i was using (dr. b alternative) (no longer available on amazon). for the price, i am happy enough, though it was a jump from the previous soap i was using. the olive does feel thicker on the skin after rinsing (but a really thin and runny as a soap/easy to waste or overpour) but as a normally dryer skin, my skin is happy with it. able to use on face without sensitivity. still getting used to it but happy with my purchase!
