    I absolutely love it!
    This cross and chain are exactly what I have been looking for. It’s simple and stunning at the same time. The chain lies flat against my skin and the clasp has stayed put so I haven’t had to fuss with it. I also like that the back of the cross is completely flat so that also doesn’t really move around. And to reference other reviews on this that I read, it is advertised as minimalist in the description but that only means simple and less detail to keep the cost down. Also, all 14k gold is only 58.5% gold, it’s been like that forever. It’s mixed with other metals as it always has been. So, I’m not sure what a couple of other reviewers were all up in arms about. 14k 585 is the exact product description listed for this chain and cross. I don’t see 14k stamped anywhere on the chain though so we’ll see how this goes over time (I’ll update my review in a month or so). But, for now, I love it and am happy with my purchase!!!

    14k Minimalist gold is not pure gold.
    When I ordered this item I did not realize that “minimalist gold” is only 58% gold. Once I received the item, it was apparent that this is not pure gold as it has an orange tint and does not have the gold karat stamped on it. That is when I looked up to see exactly what “miminalist gold” is.When I contacted the seller (before I found out what minimalist gold is) I asked why the karat wasn’t stamped on the item and they never explained – it isn’t stamped because it’s not pure gold.I think it is important to know what minimalist gold is prior to purchase, so you won’t be disappointed.If you are looking for pure gold, this would not be something you would want to buy.I will be returning the item.If you are not necessarily looking for gold and would like a nice piece of costume looking jewelry, then you would probably be pleased with the design/weight of the necklace.For the above reasons, I felt I couldn’t give it the best rating.
