    A Simple Walk Through the Gospels
    Kris does a nice job of giving helpful info in each chapter and showing how the story is relevant today. The book is set up by chapter and can be taken at your own pace. I appreciate the specific prayers by chapter. It is a good way to help build the habit of praying with scripture, which may be more valuable than many would think. Scripted, thoughtful prayers can be just as (or more) beneficial than thinking of what to pray without much preparation. In our highly emotion based culture this is a good way to balance emotion with deep thoughtfulness.
