Great theology!
We are super picky about the devotionals we use with our son’s; they need to have sound theology and be biblically based. While I’m not a super fan of only using one or two verses, the devotional itself usually puts the verses in the correct context while also making it relevant to the younger crowd. My boys are 5, 7 and 10 and all were able to grasp the concepts pretty easily. It also sparked great conversations! We highly recommend this devotional book!

Grat for young boys
I purchased this for my 3 boys, 3yo, 7yo and 10 yo. I wanted something that we could read as a family and go over but not be too intense since they are all at such different levels of understanding due to age. This has been great to bring us together as a family and for us to dive a little deeper when one of my kids asks a question.

Amazing devotional for kids of all ages
I love that my 8 year old is able to read and understand this devotional. I’ve been feeling in my heart that he needs more than just the Bible stories we read At bedtime. We have a routine in the morning and we do this just before we start our homework. And he reads the whole thing and I sit next to him and listen to make sure he gets all the words right. It’s easy reading, but sometimes the Bible verses might have words that he’s not familiar with. And then we discuss it. It’s truly a wonderful way to start the morning, and also to start forming Daily Devotional habits in young children. Even if you have a kindergartener who cannot read at this level yet, I would still go ahead and get the book and have them look along with you as you read it. The act of forming a healthy habit of daily devotionals should not be underestimated.
