Smells better once wet!
My sister in law stayed at my house and left our bathroom smelling amazing after showering with her beloved patchouli soap by Fab Fran. I knew I had to have it.When I received the product I thought “this doesn’t smell right/smells too strong.” Don’t worry! What the raw bar itself smells like is different. Smells AMAZING!!
I love patchouli scent. I wear patchouli oil as a base and then patchouli perfume on top with patchouli lotion. I like a very particular type of patchouli and this is it! So smooth on my skin because with the oil in the soap it hydrates. Thank you for one more step towards my patchouli supremacy!!

Not bad, but not the scent I hoped/expected
I have had patchouli soap and other such scented items, and this just doesn’t have the same scent. It’s not bad, but just not what I was expecting or wanting. Faint patchouli scent, but other scents included that I’m not so fond of.

Not just your ordinary soap
I was sceptical of this purchase. The price point was more than I normally spend but I’ve been looking to ways to get away from using anything that not all natural. So I bought these to give them a try. I still think they are over priced but definitely competitive to the others that I have reviewed on Amazon. The soap lathered nicely and have a pleasant but not overwhelming scent. I did find that all the soap were a little difficult to really identify a difference in smell. For me this purchase was great. I will purchased more.

Doesn’t smell like Patchouli
My first order of this smelled fantastic, very much like patchouli. I was so excited that I ordered more when I ran out. The next batch did not smell like patchouli at all, smelled simply like soap.

Ever since a local goats milk soap maker left town, who had made “old hippy” patouli scented soap, I have been looking for a viable replacement, and this is truly it!! This soap has a perfect patouli scent, not cut with any other scents, its pure and not too fresh of a patouli aroma! It sticks around all day, others always notice my scent, even longer in the day and being a soap its not overtly strong, but is still there! Amazing job Fabulous Frannie, do NOT change a thing about this soap, you have the formula down PAT!!

I was very surprised with this soap. I purchased this for my trip to the Dominican Republic where I know that it can get humid at times and mosquitoes come out full force, especially in the evenings. I thought that the soap was going to dry my skin but it did not. The smell is strong in the shower but it leaves a soft lingering smell. During my time at the DR, I used this every night before heading out and i never got bitten once. To be honest, I was expecting a few bites but surprisingly enough – nothing. I invested in the bug spray as a back up but didn’t have to use it all. I definitely will purchase this item again.

The package came faster then delivery date given at time of order.It was well packaged and opening the bubble wrap on the 2 bars of soap, scissors accidentally scrapped the top of the first bar.The fragrance released was incredible.I’m in love with it already.I will be definitely ordering again.
