I was disappointed from the time I opened this. The seal was broken and the lotion had “leaked” around the jar. I was expecting a thick creamy lotion, but this is quite watery. It does absorb well and is not greasy or sticky but I have extremely dry skin and was looking for deep moisture. I’m not thrilled with the smell either. It reminds me of my Grandma’s cold cream…I’m in my 50’s. I don’t recommend for this for anyone with fragrance issues or that is looking for a thick moisturizing cream.

This review is for Grass-fed Tallow with Frankincense Oil & Castor Oil, 60g Organic Tallow Moisturizer for Skin, Tallow And Manuka Honey Cream for Face, Body.This face cream is not unpleasant to use, but it falls very short of what I expected.The good: The product is not greasy, far from it, it’s very thin. It goes on light and absorbs quickly.The bad: This does not feel like a tallow cream. It feels like a mineral oil lotion. This product does not smell of Frankincense oil at all. This product does not smell of castor oil at all. This product smells like the generic lotions one gets in a mid-priced hotel. This product is not a good value for the money; At nearly $9 an ounce, I expect a product that feels nicer on my face than the free travel lotion I get in my hotel bathroom.As with all my reviews, this one is based on my initial impressions and a couple of days of use. I will continue to use this moisturizer until the jar is empty and will update my review if my initial impressions are changed.

Feels light and moisturizing and not too strong smell, my face really likes it . It has Castor Oil not mineral oil big difference. This is a great combination for skin cream.

Can’t Smell Frankincense | Sticky Hands
This is currently the cold, dry season and I struggle with keeping my hands and cuticles from cracking and splitting . I was looking for a cream with intense moisture that will repair my damaged fingertips and cracked heels on my feet. The dry weather can cause splits in my skin, just as if it were a cut. I ordered a very small 2.12 ounce jar of Grass-fed Beef Tallow with Frankincense Oil & Castor oil by a generic brand name. This tallow lists Frankincense and castor oil but I cannot smell the Frankincense. I use tallow cream because it can hydrate my skin and keep it moisturized better than lotion. However, I will say that the cream did not absorb quickly, as expected. I usually use tallow on my hands, which are the driest part of my body. This Tallow Cream left my hands a bit sticky, actually. I think this may be due to the castor oil ingredient…just my opinion. This is a medium thick, whipped cream but I can not smell even the slightest amount of Frankincense. I am surprised to read that it will not clog pores, even in intense heat and humidity. But Over the course of a few days, where this tallow cream excels is when I use it on my feet. The film actually keeps my feet feeling hydrated longer while I sleep. I recommend Beef Tallow with Frankincense Oil & Castor oil, by a generic brand with four stars. One star deduction for a small jar, film left on my hands, and the higher price than some other tallows.
