Strong scented citronella oil, many ways you can use it.
Smells like citronella. I use with diffusers outdoors. The range doesn’t go far outdoors so it effectiveness against mosquitos in that application is not the best. I also have candles and incense burning repellents. I don’t mind the scent but can be really strong in enclosed spaces. I sit right next to the diffuser but wouldn’t trust it alone to chase off hunger blood suckers. They like me more than the other people I am around, not a good thing. I will be harassed by mosquitos and they leave the other people alone. I’m the sacrifice at this point. If I am there they won’t be bothered. So this oil helps in conjunction with other products. As of last season the burner kind of repellent was my favorite but I still have this oil out too. It doesn’t start fires by nature like the incense potentially can, it’s a diffused scent so it’s always just lingering about. The diffuser does not blow out with a strong wind like candles do. A lot of options you can use this in. Up to you really. I will continue to use it. No one thing has completely stopped bites for me so I just try a little of everything. If you are creative you could make citronella soaps. Possibility is there.

    Great essential oil for haircare
Great value for money. A few drops go a long way.I’ve been adding a few drops to my shampoo and I also prepare rosemary water with this to apply on my hair after showering (3 drops for every 15ml of filtered water).I have very thin hair, but it looks and feels thicker now. It looks healthier as well. It used to be very dry and that has been solved.

    Effective roach deterrent
This is probably not the intended use of this product, however my apartment had a roach problem, and I learned rosemary is toxic to roaches… so I found a new use for your rosemary oil. What I did was filled a spray bottle with water, put a dropper full of the oil and shook it up. Then spray around the edges of your living space. The water will evaporate but leave the smell of rosemary to deter the roaches for a while. Repeat as necessary.

    Orange color
The only ingredient is orange oil, but it has such a orange color that I feel like there’s food coloring in it. Didn’t give up very good smell in my infuser. It was just so so.

    Looove It!!!!!!

Best way to kill those unwanted critters that come in your house.
Works great as a repellent to ants, spiders, roaches & other critters. I use it on a spray bottle and put 10 drips in my Bissell crosswave hydrosteam and use lemon scent Mr clean with water and works like magic.

    Very nice oil!
Very nice oil! Large bottle! I bought the rosemary oil too and I’m very pleased. The dropper wasn’t as useful though since it didn’t draw much oil each time. But I bought this for the oil and that was nice enough that I’m going to but lemon oil next if it’s available.

    Rosemary for your hair
I have used this a couple of times now on my scalp and I like the way it makes my hair look and feel. Leave it on for about 30 minutes before I wash my hair.

I purchase this brand of tea tree oil for the scent alone (another, more expensive brand for medical purposes). Although Handcraft Blends is 100% pure as promised, it is – in my own layman’s terms for the sake of simplicity – not as “concentrated” as, say, the Thursday Plantation, Now or Melaleuca brands.Another thing that I see reviewers complain about with any brand of tea tree oil, is the “off” or “bad” smell upon opening. This doesn’t necessarily mean the product is bad but sometimes upon opening, a “bad” odour may be present, but once the bottle contents have hit the air or “decanted” for a couple of days the scent will settle into its real self.Anyway this Handcraft Blends brand of tea tree oil for the scent: Tea tree oil is one of my all time favourites, and find it to be both calming and refreshing at once. A lot of people dislike the aroma so I don’t scent myself or my home etc. with it, but rather apply to a material that I can store in a baggie and take out to inhale the air around it when I feel like it. It adheres best and lasts longest on fuzzy/fluffy fabrics and knits so I use it on scraps of old sweaters.A couple of other things I scent up with it, is my DIY body wash (distilled water, Dr Bronners Castile soap, tea tree oil and a bit of glycerin)…. and one of the puffs to my DIY body powder (corn starch, baking soda and kaolin clay). I sprinkle an ample amount tea tree all over the puff while it’s wet after washing, leave to evaporate for a few days, then store in a tin of powder. The scent permeates the powder only a very slight amount and fades quickly, while the puff remains heavily scented. That way I get the great scent while applying and for a few minutes afterward, but it fades away after a few minutes so other people don’t have to smell it.
