This book was beautifully-written. Very straight-forward and has an easy-to-follow format. I love that this book doesn’t take so much time of your day. The workbook is perfect for busy, occupied men who want to reconnect with or learn more about their faith. I highly recommend this book.

I purchased this devotional for my husband and my father, and they both were quite intrigued just in the few moments of flipping through the pages.The “Life of Purpose” Study Bible aims to give men a roadmap for life based on biblical examples. Frustrating more than helpful
If you are a committed christian seeking to really dig into the word and reap deeper insights, you should probably steer clear of this book.The questions that get posed are not for serious reflection, obviously, because they are not well thought out questions, at all.Examples abound, but really, the questions just sound like they are being asked by a person who tries to sound lofty but really displays ignorance…Example from page 17: “Do you think God often relies on patience with his creations?” A poor concept, and poorly worded.An even bigger frustration is that any of the daily scripture readings that come from a book in the Bible that is preceded with a Roman Numeral (1 Corinthians, 2 Peter, etc) DO NOT CONTAIN that Roman Numeral (!!) so one has no idea which book is intended, and one must look at all the possibilities to discover which one was intended. This would seem to indicate that the book was written by a person who pretends to sound lofty in his question-asking, but has little actual knowledge of how to properly direct the reader to biblical text.In the end, whatever help one was seeking in purchasing this book is overshadowed by the huge frustrations it contains. My advice is to avoid this book. Better yet, write your own, because anyone with a clear understanding of 7th grade English can do better.

Great book, easy to work through. My husband and his friend loved it very much.
