Nice necklace for my 5 yr old grandson as a Christmas gift but it is very small. More like for a toddler or even an infant.Update:Follow up review. It fit my 5 yr old son perfectly. It is a great crucifix and he was pleased that he had one like his Dad! Great gift item!!

A simple gift
My daughter had been wanting a necklace like mine for awhile. I was not ready to splurge on a James Avery necklace for her just yet. Size wise it fit her great with room to grow. Quality I think is there and so loves seeing she now has a necklace just like me.

Nice cross!
This gift was a Christmas present to a very special young boy who has been wanting a cross necklace for a while. I didn’t realize until Christmas Eve, when I was wrapping the gift, that the chain was missing the clasp. I also ordered it late, therefore it didn’t arrive until 12/23. So there wasn’t enough time to get a replacement before Christmas day. I love how the company sent me a replacement, prior to me even sending it back, to speed up the process. If you’re looking for a nice starter cross that won’t break the bank, this is what you want.

Extremely delicate chain.
I got this for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He was thrilled to open it. In less than a week though, the very delicate chain had broken and the cross was lost. I was concerned when I first opened it that is was definitely not strong enough to be classified as a necklace for children and assumed I would have to shop for another chain to replace the one included, but with the cross lost, that won’t be happening. Unfortunately I will have to shop for another one.
