A special Bible designed to be read over the course of a year.
Have you ever wanted to read the whole Bible, in entirety, over the course of a year? I’ve attempted it before, even getting as far as 126 days into one of the better known podcast courses, but on each attempt I always fell short of my goal. However, this Daily Scripture Bible by Zondervan is designed to accomplish just that, and it does so in a way that is frustration free as well, so you stick with it to the end!This is not your garden variety Bible – it’s a special one, arranged with daily readings over the course of 365 days. The day’s readings are not dated in “calendar style” so you don’t have to start on January 1st – you can begin anytime! You can also “jump ahead” and read more on a given day if you like, or you can take a day or two off and your bookmark will tell you where to pick it back up. What I LOVE about this Bible is that the readings are arranged so there is no flipping around back and forth from book to book. You just do the daily readings (three per day) then advance to the next day. With other programs I was having to consult a reading plan and keep track of three bookmarks. Zondervan’s Daily Scripture approach is so simple and straightforward. And of course it’s written in the easy to understand contemporary translation called the NIV or New International Version. God’s word has never been more accessible!This Bible is rather bare bones. There are no illustrations and aside from a short summary at the beginning of each daily three part reading, you don’t get any supplemental or a lot of contextual information. If you find you’re in need for more supporting text you might want to consult a study Bible. Zondervan has some of the best out there. But of course this isn’t necessary at all.If you are looking for a Bible where you can quickly find a certain chapter or book, this is not the right Bible for you. This book is specifically arranged and designed to read the Bible in a year.This is a Protestant Bible, so it does not contain the seven apocrypha books specific to Catholic bibles.This is a paperback and the text in this Super Giant (comfort) Print is easy on the eyes and not even the slightest bit fatiguing. The price point is very good as well.You really can read the entire Bible in a year! Recommended!

Large print say what! 😍
I absolutely love my giant print Bible. I told my husband about how small print strains my eyes, so finding a Bible I can read comfortably without glasses is a relief. The large print makes it easy to navigate and I really appreciate how it cross-reference other books of the Bible. The content is presented in a way that’s clear and easy to understand, making my reading experience both enjoyable and meaningful.

Not perfect
I have read this Bible daily, for almost 2 months. I have it in both the large and small version. I will continue to use it throughout the year. However, the cover is already showing wear from being held and opened regularly. Zondervan, why a paperback cover on a bible this size? That in itself makes the Bible not worth the cost. Love the Bible, not the cover.

I have a few Bibles already, but I’m really, really slack about reading them. Plus sometimes I get too ADHD and get bored with one book or chapter. So I needed brevity (each day can be read in only about 15 minutes), variety and structure which is easy to read in all respects. I started this just now, and this is that book.
