    Interesting choices
What got my attention on this book is the author often uses lesser known men and women in the Bible. This has encouraged me to reread accounts where they are in, but also to pay more attention when reading the Word especially on the seemingly less significant people or actions.

This devotional highlights either a man or woman from the Bible for each day. The Scripture references where the person is mentioned are included each day. You will learn about some of the usual people that are commonly known. But many of the people are mentioned sparingly or even only once but leave an important lesson for the reader.

I really like the concept of the devotional
I really like the concept of the devotional. I am reading about people I never knew. My one complaint is that the scriptures that direct you to a particular person’s story are not always accurate. This has happened about 3 times. Kind of disappointing, especially with some of the obscure characters. Otherwise, I am enjoying. I do really like the directed prayer topics, too.

I am combining reading this with out books that I use for devotionals and it is interesting to get insight about the people in the Bible, both men and women.

    Love it
What a great way to get to know many people of the Bible and at the same time be inspired by their faithfulness and warned by their mistakes. A great devotional.
