Good devotional for men
Great One Year Devotional, it was interesting as you stay along with the book throughout the year. I would recommend it.

Really nice, especially with Audible version sync’d with Kindle.
This is a very good devotional, but more general than directly for men. A great feature is the Audible version sync’d with Kindle. That way if I’m reading at work my place is held for when I decide to listen on the road, etc. I wish more books would do this, especially the daily Bible readings from different sections of the Bible that take longer to read or listen to so devotions are often spread throughout the day.

Overall—A Very Good Devotional for Men With 2 Minor Issues
I have used a number of Walk Thru the Bible’s devotionals over the years and they never disappoint. There were many days when the topic really hit on an issue I was dealing with in my life, even in a year as unusual as 2020. I knocked off a star due to two relatively minor issues that, in my opinion, hinder the overall effectiveness of the devotional. My primary reason for knocking off a star is the devotional’s attempt to cover all the stages of life—from young, unmarried adult to being newly empty-nested. Almost as many times as I found the day’s devotional to have been a homerun, I often found the material to have not even made the drive to the ballpark of where I am in life (one child halfway through college and another in the last years of high school). I found very little to help my spiritual growth from devotionals aimed directly at those in stages of life I passed through years (or decades) ago. I understand the publisher’s goal to appeal to as broad an audience as possible, but I believe they would have been better served to split up the life stages and publish a series of devotionals under the same title with more focused writings on challenges specific to each stage. The second is a personal pet peeve of mine—the use of The New Living Translation (NLT) as the primary source of Scripture quotations. As a dedicated theology student and teacher, I admit to being a bit of a “translation snob.” While the NLT is a very readable translation, it falls short, in my opinion, of faithfully adhering to the original texts. My personal preference, the New American Standard Bible (NASB) is consistently ranked by Biblical scholars as being in the top two or three in that area, but can be a difficult read. A compromise that would have bumped up my rating of this devotional would have been the use of the English Standard Version (ESV). It is more faithful to the original texts than the NLT, but is easier to read and understand than the NASB. I recognize that both issues are more along the lines of my individual preferences rather than gross failures of the book as a whole. Therefore, despite my personal issues with a couple of Walk Thru the Bible’s choices, I would not hesitate to recommend this book as a daily devotional for men between ages ~20-55 or so.

Bought for State Prison Inmate
I bought this for a current inmate in a state prison and he absolutely loves this book and recommended it for others who are serving time. It has helped him get through and pass his time in the system.

Ordered for my husband as a gift, I wanted something he could grab and use year after year. This is definitely what I WAS looking for! I love the short scriptures and the bottom line summary at the end of each day. This can be used any year and I love how each day is payed out and depicted! Fabulous find and addition to our collection!

Relatable Quality Read
I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. He is going through a hard time and yet, he does so much for others. I felt he could use this gift as a daily reminder to keep him close with God, and also use this daily motivation. I’m glad I did. The passages are relatable, and it’s really made for everyone. The cover is nice and the book is sturdy, not cheaply put together. He was happy and thought the book was a perfect gesture. He’s been reading one every day.. so far so good lol.

Came in good condition. It’s a nice religious book that gives you something to reflect and learn about daily. I believe it could help with strengthen belief in religion and in God. It’s short one page reflections so it isn’t too much to read. Just 5-10 minutes of your time a day to read.

I’m enjoying the principles of the topics however it seems that it’s written around the American male. I wish if there was a version that was not so general. this does not satisfy my devotional time.
