Great myrrh, great price
Plant Guru, with their excellent prices and trustworthy products, is a seller from whom I regularly order essential oils, and I’ve yet to have the slightest dissatisfaction with either their service or products.This bottle of myrrh EO continues that trend: it arrived early, was intact and sealed, and has a very pleasant fragrance. It is, I think, a bit less pungent than other company’s myrrh EOs; not weaker overall, just less sharp in the nose, so to speak. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as myrrh can be a bit too strong at times, and its a scent that is most enjoyable when subtle. So “less pungent” is fine with me, just be aware of that characteristic before ordering. On the other hand, w/o two other bottles of myrrh in front of me for comparison, I probably couldn’t have noticed any difference.

I haven’t used it yet as I just received it, but it is not too thick and dispenses well. Most importantly, it smells exactly as the powdered Myrrh in the capsules that I have. Very pleased with this product and seller!

This is a more resinous oil (thicker than the typical EO) so I do not use it for diffusing purposes. I typically use Myrrh in homemade scrubs and lotions blended with orange and frankincense essential oils. The scent is woodsy and sweet- very similar to copaiba balsam, in my opinion. I have purchased from Plant Guru before and they seem to be a reputable company with high-quality oils.

The scent doesn’t last very long once it’s put in the diffuser. I don’t know if this is normal for this oil, but it’s a very thick sludge at room temperature. Place the vial in a cup of warm water to loosen it up and make it more fluid.

Plant Guru is one of two EOs I purchase. Always same quality and expected results. This myrrh is a little easier to dispense than my other fav brand so I’m glad I bought this one. Will repurchase.
