Most beautiful, interactive, easily understood Bible I own!
TRANSLATION review: I have owned and “read through” quite a few other Bibles (KJV, NIV, Catholic, ESV, Message). This is my first experience with the CSB. It is very close to the ESV translation. I’ve worked through in a backwards way by starting with very challenging versions when I was younger, and now as an adult am really enjoying the new, modern translations. I won’t debate too much about the “authenticity” of each translation to the “original text”. My opinion is that if you don’t understand what you are reading, you won’t keep reading. If these new “modern” translations get you reading God’s Word, that’s the very first baby step. (Example: I don’t introduce my children to Shakespeare by making them read the original work, but instead give them reimagined children’s books with few words, in modern translation, and lots of pictures. When they are ready, we will move on to a youth version, then the originals.)QUALITY review: I purchased the grey linen with sleeve. It all seems very well made, quality materials. Sleeve is sturdy and will definitely hold up to lots of use. The Bible slides in and out of sleeve with just a bit of friction, but no need for pulling or shaking to try to work it out. If you put paper notes in your Bible it may eventually not fit well in the sleeve. The Bible itself seems very sturdy. The spine seems strong. The linen is a beautiful grey and feels smooth. The writing is a pretty gold that catches the light and shines. The Bible lays flat when opened and does not seem to pull at the spine like it is stressing it. As many other reviews have stated, the pages are thin; however, they are NO MORE thin than every other Bible I own! I think what is throwing some people off is the different colors, extra characters, and art beyond just letters, along with lots of white space on pages. It is not a traditional lay out with lines of words matching up on every page. The paper feels buttery soft. Pages DO NOT feel like they will rip easily. A few pages were stuck together but pulled apart easily. The two sewn-in satin ribbon page markers are a nice touch, especially being two different colors.CONTENT review: As stated, I own or have looked through many Bibles. Children’s Bibles are a great start to reading the Bible because of the artwork and story-like translation grabbing children’s attention. Study Bibles are great for in-depth study with all the references, maps, etc. I feel like this Bible is a great blending of those two ideas. The artwork and beauty of this book make you want to open it and turn the pages, the translation makes it easy to understand what you are reading and to want to keep reading, and all the extra information such as the one page devotionals, key verses, charts, timelines, reading plans, etc. are very helpful and informative to help you delve deeper into the Word.Is this a “perfect” Bible? No! Like people, there is no such thing. If a Bible had everything in it that I personally wanted, it would be as big as a table and as thick as a tree trunk! However, this is the most beautiful personal Bible I have owned or even seen, to date. I will be buying one for each of my children as soon as I can. The SRT app, devotionals, artwork, and this Bible are all being used to draw people closer to God. If you are drawn to this Bible, I advice you to buy it. You can return it or gift it in the off chance it’s really not what you were expecting.

The best Bible I’ve ever had
I have so many good things to say about this Bible. I don’t know where to begin first of all I like how it has the big margins on the side for notetaking. I also like how the scriptures are translated to make it more easy for you to understand what you’re reading this Bible is reworded very well for The younger generation to get into the word of God I highly highly recommend this Bible for any woman who’s looking to pick up their Bible study or pick up their faith and read more of the Bible this made it extremely easy for me to read atleast a scripture or a book in the Bible daily I highly recommend this Bible to any and everyone it’s definitely a must have it’s on my top 10 list of great things off of Amazon

    My favorite book!
Honestly I love the quality of this Bible. This is my first and I’m learning as I go but so far it’s been great the pages are thin and some highlighters bleed but it’s fine I’m still able to read from the other side of the page! Don’t hesitate just buy it!

    LOVE THIS BIBLE!!
I used to have zondervan’s True Images bible, which got me hooked on “pretty” bibles – I can’t own a plain boring one anymore. Anyway, that True Images bible started falling apart and was also meant for teenagers. I was getting too old for it and I needed a new one.I love this bible so far!! Here are some pros and cons:PROS:-beautiful illustrations-CSB is easy to read (and very similar to NIV in my opinion)-I like how the text is formatted like a regular book rather than having two narrow columns on each page-Blank space in margins for notes if you like taking notes in your bible-Super minimalist-Contains “the bible in a year” reading plan as well as a topical index, reading plans for each book of the bible (which I LOVE, and it includes cross references to the text), and devotionals. Also contains timelines for many of the books and mapsCONS:-Kind of heavy – not exactly a portable bible-Pages are kind of see-through, which I sometimes find distractingAnyway I’m super happy I found this bible. I did a lot of investigating before buying a new women’s study bible and this one was the winner.I hope you order it and enjoy it as much as I do!

helped me get closer to God
I’ve been using the ESV Study Bible, and it’s been a game-changer for understanding Scripture. The notes break things down in a way that actually makes sense, and the maps, charts, and explanations help connect everything. It’s super helpful when I come across confusing passages. The only downside is that it’s a bit big, so it’s not the easiest to carry around. But if you’re serious about growing in your faith and want something that explains things clearly, this is totally worth it. It’s like having a pastor in book form. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to go deeper!

    LOVE IT
Best purchase ever, it’s so heavy tho.It has enough space to write notes in, hold highlighter well on pages, the devotionals are relatable and are wonderfully written.10/10Also a very good “beginners” bible tbh

It is a beautiful bible though as some readers have mentioned the pages are thin not a problem during reading but for turning and note taking.

I’m not unhappy with my purchase. It came incredibly fast, and in perfect condition. However, I was surprisingly underwhelmed by this bible. It’s great for taking notes (which is what I wanted it for), and it looks beautiful. I would say the pages are actually thicker than most bibles, not extremely paper thin like some have said.I’m disappointed that this isn’t a red letter bible. I don’t love the “devotionals” because they are written by the author in first person and include very personal stories. It’s more like reading her journal and I find it hard to put myself into the mind frame that “this is for me.” And you don’t even know who is writing the devotional which is really confusing. However, they are well written! There are not very many maps or colourful graphs. It’s mostly very plain time lines. And I also am uncomfortable by the fact that some verses have been omitted in the main text (why??), and some of the gender language has been changed. (I’ll include a picture).Overall, do I still like this bible? Yes. It has made me excited to read and study my bible everyday. Is the quality there? Yes.The readings plans are the best!

If you’re a young adult or even a teen this bible is perfect for you. It was way bigger than I expected but I love it and it’s surprisingly lightweight. I did notice that 2 pages were connected at the top left corner (must have been a manufacturing accident) I did also notice that there were two stains on the front and back of the bible, the actual bible not the cover. Other than that the bible is super easy to read and the devotionals are so understandable. I seriously recommend 😁🤎
