Unsure how much tallow is actually in this
I’ve tried many different brands of tallow over the last couple of years, and they’ve all had different consistencies. One was thick and whipped, another was thick and dense, another was hard and gritty and needed warming up in my hands, another was almost like an ointment. All were fairly heavy and when you put them on your skin, you knew it for a while. This one is extremely light and thin. It’s not like any tallow I’ve ever used. It’s so lightweight that I have to wonder how much tallow is actually in it. I haven’t had any negative effects from using it, and it being light and non-greasy means that it gets absorbed into the skin very easily, but it doesn’t deliver the kind of dense moisturizing effect that I’ve come to expect from tallow products.

Unexpectedly Amazing
I was skeptical at first, but this stuff is gold. It’s deeply moisturizing without feeling greasy, and my skin feels incredibly soft after using it. Plus, the natural ingredients make me feel like I’m treating my skin right.

Not super moisturizing, more lotion than cream
Very light texture. It goes on very smooth, but absorbs quickly. I was hoping for a thicker product to help my very dry skin. Very subtle scent.

What is in this cream exactly?
Not at all what I expected in this product. No product list as to what it contains and how much of each ingredient. On label says Frankincense and Castor Oil. Does not smell of Frankincense or feel like it has any castor oil in it. It could be any body cream off the shelf sold with this label.

Lovely light fragrance, greaseless formula
This is the first tallow moisturizer I’ve tried that has the texture of a liquid lotion rather than a more solid whipped cream. It actually feels like water before it’s absorbed when it leaves my skin feeling smooth. I actually prefer the moisturizing I get from the whipped creams to this. Most of the other creams I have are all 120g/4.2oz while this is just 60g/2.1oz but they cost the same. I would not reorder this.

Not comfortable using…
I love using pure tallow on my sensitive skin, so I was excited to try this product. Unfortunately, there are several things that just make me uncomfortable with it and not sure of the quality/safety/purity. First of all, there is NO ingredients list either on the box or the jar. I don’t know how that is even allowed. It does say on the box “Made with 3 simple ingredients your skin will LOVE!” but nowhere is there an ingredients list to tell you what those are. I think the assumption is that you will assume from the other descriptions on the box, jar, and product page that the 3 ingredients are organic grass-fed pasture-raised tallow, castor oil, and frankincense, but I can’t remember ever using a skincare product that did not have a detailed ingredients list. Secondly, while the amber glass jar itself is nice, the label appears very immature and is wrinkled. Lastly, I couldn’t find anywhere on the box, jar, or product page that told me where this product is made. I did a little bit of digging and it seems this might be a Chinese company. Wherever it is from, that should be information that is easy to find. Because of the reasons I have listed above, I will not be using this product, do not recommend it, and will definitely not be ordering more.

Very light-
Arrived as pictured. Shipping was good. This is VERY light. More of a lotion- I prefer a thicker balm. Description should be updated to a lotion and more info on the product made available.
