I first saw this outstanding book in books a million. I wanted to buy it, but it wasn’t the right time. I’d heard great things about Jesus calling, so I knew this book would be awesome! I had my heart set on buying it, so checked on Amazon. And sure enough, the price was lower. So I got it and it arrived shortly after. It has a devo for every day of the year, a verse for each day, and a couple verse references to look up on your own in your Bible! I even kept a notebook to right down notes, because this book it definitely note-worthy! If I’m ever feeling down, I whip out this book along with my Bible and soon I’m feeling better! If you’re looking for a way to better your relationship with Jesus, this is the book for you! I feel Jesus Calling every time I read this book. Well done author Sarah Young!

Such a cute book for kids.
I got it to help start my kids and my day off with Jesus. And it’s so good. It goes along with the book for adults, it’s just simplified for kids to understand easier. I still like to talk with my kids about what we just read but for kids who are reading, they can definitely read it themselves. It’s a great way to imagine that “this is what Jesus wants to say to you”.

Okay devotionals
Just need better wrapping. This book was so dented. And I got a hard cover book with it that was not dented. So this seems to have happen before packaging really.The product it self is easy for a 5 to 7 year old. It’s decent. I have only glanced quickly.An Update.I think this book is very beautiful. While I just could no longer rock with this because of wording. I don’t use words like God- Jesus, so I just Could not anymore since elevating on my relationship with the Creator and learning Hebrew. However the book is tasteful.Very needed for those moments when you don’t have a lesson plan ready. Extremely personal.

This devotional is amazing and I’m going to try and get a copy for every kid in our Sunday school. I’ve used it in teaching and the readings are so to the point. If you are a parent even you may get a lot of discussion and good conversations with your kids. I love reading the adult version, too. It has impacted my faith life and strengthened it. And the devotionals sparked some short lessons on days when we didnt have curriculum to teach on. Also to note the content is simply written enough for any age or background of child, but those gentle, short lessons can be so big!
