Don’t let the size fool you. A little goes a long way. I’ve been using this on cracked knuckles and my healed tattoos and love the results. The light smell doesn’t bother my migraines. Made in USA and small batched. Can’t go wrong here.

Great product
This balm is great – it’s thick and smooth and has a lovely fragrance. Being a balm and not lotion, it does take a while to absorb so will feel heavy and greasy for a bit. But it makes my skin feel great and is very soothing for winter dryness. I would happily get this brand again!

Best-Smelling Tallow Balm I’ve Tried
I’ve tried a lot of beef tallow balms—at least ten—and this one immediately stood out. The scent is absolutely incredible. The blend of frankincense, lavender, and rosehip oil creates a calming, spa-like aroma that genuinely makes me look forward to applying it, which is rare with tallow products.Texture-wise, it’s rich and thick (as expected from a balm), and a little goes a long way. It does take a little time to absorb, so you may notice some initial greasiness—especially if you’re applying it to larger areas—but I personally don’t mind that when I’m treating psoriasis patches or areas flaring up with dermatitis. It feels deeply soothing, and the relief is worth the slight wait.What makes this even better? It’s made by a small family business, and you can feel the care that went into it. The balm is well-formulated, smooth to apply, and doesn’t feel gritty or overly waxy. Rosacea-safe!
I have maturing, sensitive skin with mild rosacea, and after using this daily for nearly two weeks, I’m happy to say I’ve had no negative reactions. Highly recommended, with details below!Pros:- A little goes a very long way- Did not cause redness or breakouts on face- Created a moisturizing barrier that helped hands, cheeks, and dry winter patches on body- Smells like natural lavender, not synthetic- When worn on face at night, it did leave marks on my pillowcase, but they washed out easily- Fairly pricedNeutral:- Not super absorbent (but in my experience, tallow balm never is). It’s best for night (face) or under clothes.Cons:- None!Whether you’re new to tallow balm or an experienced user, moomade is a fairly priced, good quality option to explore (especially if you enjoy lavender!). Particularly recommend for nighttime use.

If You Love Tallow & Balms Then This Is The One!!!
Okay, normally I do not care for balms when it comes to needing a moisturizer for the skin. UNTIL this one, of course!! It’s the perfect consistency & while it is a bit oily it’s so worth it!!!! Now, it’s not something I’d apply all over due to the simple fact that I don’t like having that oily film left behind. It is one that you’ll want to keep in your cabinet because there will come a time when you’ll need it. Owned by a small family business here in America!!!! Oh & can we just acknowledge how cute the name MooMade is!? I’m just in love with it & I hope to see much more from this brand!!

I LOVE that this is made in the USA. I also LOVE the scent of the lavender, which gives this tallow a calming effect at night for me. It’s also very nourishing to my hands at night, they get super dry and crack. A little goes a very long way, so don’t let the small size fool you. It’s a great size, that will last a long while. For this price point and the quality I highly recommend this. It’s half the cost of others like it. Very cool packaging design too! Love it!Price at the time of purchase and review 24.99
