Well Made, Heavy Duty, Looks Lovely
This is a nice heavyweight cast iron decorative accent. The casting is well done, with smooth and precise edges. The paint treatment has a lovely washed effect that is evenly applied in a distressed looking fashion. This will certainly look fantastic with a shabby chic decor style, but it is not limited to just that. I have a modern farmhouse decor style in my home, but as an accent piece this feels right at home. I am using it as a header on a piece of framed artwork. It really elevates the look of my frame and adds a bit of charm and sophistication. This is a beautiful plaque. Good buy.
